My journey into real estate is one filled with purpose, heartbreak, and an unwavering determination to create a life by design. It all began with a solid foundation in finance and taxation. Armed with an undergraduate degree in International Business with an Emphasis in Finance and a master's degree in Taxation, I embarked on a career that led me to Ernst and Young, LLP.
For several years, I thrived in the world of corporate finance and taxation, but as time passed, I began to question if I was truly on the right path. The relentless demands of the corporate world left me feeling disconnected from what truly mattered in life.Ā
Then, tragedy struck, and life took an unexpected turn. While I was pregnant with my third child, a heartbreaking event occurred that would change everything. My precious child passed away while I was 30 weeks pregnant. It was a moment that shattered my world and tested the depths of my resilience.
In the aftermath of this profound loss, I realized that the corporate grind was no longer compatible with the life I wanted to lead. The long hours and demanding schedule left me with little time to spend with my two living children. The pursuit of financial success was no longer enough; I yearned for a life where I could be present for my family.
It was during this soul-searching period that my husband, recognizing my deep love for homes and my natural talent for helping friends find their perfect abode, suggested I explore a career in real estate. The idea resonated with me, and I decided to take a leap of faith.
Seven years ago, I became a licensed Real Estate Agent in California, and my journey into real estate began. In my first year, while pregnant with my third living child, I defied the odds and won the prestigious "Rookie of the Year" award at one of Silicon Valley's largest brokerages. It was a validation of my dedication and hard work.
With the passage of time, my journey in real estate continued to flourish. By my third year, I had ascended to the coveted status of a top producer, garnering recognition as one of the industry's finest. This notable achievement not only marked a milestone in my career but also opened doors to my debut feature in "Real Producers of Silicon Valley" magazine. As I embark on my eighth year in this dynamic field, I've achieved yet another significant milestoneā€”being featured in Apple News as one of California's Top 10 Real Estate Agents.Ā
Today, I am the proud mother of four wonderful children, and I've transformed my real estate business into an extraordinary endeavor. I've become a coach, mentor, and trainer, helping other real estate agents build their businesses to create the kind of lifestyle they desire.
I'm also developing my first course, sharing the secrets of my success with others in the industry. My journey has taken me beyond borders, and I am now an International Speaker. I recently had the privilege of participating in a four event speaking tour for real estate agents in Greece, a remarkable experience that allowed me to share my knowledge and inspire others on a global scale.
None of this would have been possible without the support of my husband, who encouraged me to pursue real estate, and the profound pause in my life that made me reevaluate my purpose. It was in that moment of loss that I found my true callingā€”to help others in countless ways, to live life by design, and to create a legacy of resilience and purpose.
